Bursaries at UVic are awarded as fee credits. Bursaries are usually credited to your account at the beginning of each year term. The credit first goes toward any tuition or other student fees you owe to the university. If, after all your fees are paid, there is still a credit in your account, you may ask Tuition Fees to provide you with a cheque in the amount of the credit after the first day of classes. These funds may be used for housing, books, or other expenses.
